Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026

TryMore installs curated Mac apps for you. This page says what we collect, what we do not, and who processes payments. It is written to be true, not long.

The short version

You do not create an account with us. The Mac app keeps unlock state on your Mac. Payments go through Stripe (merchant: Vessel). The marketing site uses analytics so we can see if pages work. We do not sell your data.

Who is responsible

TryMore is operated by Nicolas Mertens (New York, USA). Contact: support@trymore.app.

The TryMore Mac app

Payments

One-time purchases are processed by Stripe under the Vessel merchant account. Stripe receives card and billing details as their customer. We receive confirmation that a session was paid (and related Stripe identifiers) so we can issue an unlock token. See also Stripe’s privacy policy. Tax may be calculated by Stripe Tax based on your location.

What we do not do

How long we keep data

Payment records live in Stripe per Stripe retention and tax rules. Support emails live in our mail system until we no longer need them for the conversation or legal obligations. Local unlock state on your Mac is under your control (uninstall the app / clear preferences).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK/US state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or to object to certain processing. Email support@trymore.app and we will respond. For pure Stripe card data, Stripe is the processor you may also contact via their tools.

Children

TryMore is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the effective date on this page.
