Terms of Use

Effective date: July 23, 2026

Plain-English terms for using the TryMore Mac app and website. By downloading or using TryMore, you agree to these terms.

What TryMore is

TryMore is software that helps you discover and install third-party Mac applications we curate. Many of those apps are open-source or free; a few may be freemium. TryMore is not the author of those third-party apps and does not sell their source code to you as a product of those projects.

What you are buying

When you pay for the catalog unlock, you are paying TryMore for curation, packaging, and the install experience (one-time unlock of the remaining catalog on that Mac, under the pricing shown at checkout). You are not buying a subscription. The third-party apps remain under their own licenses.

License to use TryMore

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the TryMore app on Apple Silicon Macs running a supported macOS version (currently macOS 13+). Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the TryMore app itself except as allowed by law.

Third-party apps

Acceptable use

Use TryMore only on Macs you own or are allowed to administer. Do not use TryMore to violate others’ rights, install malware, or abuse payment systems (including chargebacks without a good-faith attempt to contact us first).

Payments and taxes

Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes may be added by Stripe Tax. Refunds are described on our Refund Policy.

Disclaimer

TryMore is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of third-party apps.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of TryMore is limited to the amount you paid us for the unlock in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you only used the free tier). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for data loss caused by third-party apps.

Privacy

See our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will show a new effective date on this page.
